ACCESS CONTROL

Description and features

Our range of Access Control Systems can provide peace of mind, security, and building management for developments of all sizes so whether your project is a single dwelling, low-rise, or high-rise building we can offer a system that offers excellent value and reliability.

Because our digital and functional systems utilise many common components, a change of panel is all that is required to upgrade from a functional to a digital system. This allows us to keep purchase and installation costs low and reduce service, repair costs, leading to savings throughout the life of the system.

The system is fully isolated so a faulty component cannot disable the whole network. An access control reader is included in the door panel to give a fully integrated door security system. The range also includes a dialler for integration with our Xenon telephone warden call system to provide integrated warden call and door entry facilities.

USER BENEFITS
Integrated Access Control Reader is available to simplify system design and reduce installation time. Only one panel is required, leading to improved reliability and savings in purchase and service costs.
Audio Patch Panel allows full integration into the building's telephone network to reduce installation costs. Allows the door entry system to be integrated into a PBX, warden call system, or private telephone network.
Programming of access tags can be carried out using door panel display or web browser facility. Access tags can be quickly replaced or deleted either using a digital door panel or from a remote personal computer.
Timed Trades Button with thirty-two time slots and optional coded access. Means that a range of authorised visitors can access the building at authorised times either through a coded access or a button
Door Open Alert can be enabled to warn of doors left or held open. Security staff can be alerted if a door is left or held open for longer than the time specified.
Camera and Printer Interface is available to allow simple and efficient monitoring and reporting of activity. Means that the security of the building can be expanded to meet the changing needs of staff and tenants.
Modular System Design means that identical parts are used from the smallest to the largest system. Because the system parts are common to all systems a reduced number of spare parts need to be stocked.
Door Controller can control up to two doors and there can be up to sixteen doors per system. Simple systems with front and back door require only one control unit but the system can accommodate large blocks.
Digital Door Entry Systems are recommended for buildings ranging from 4 to 256 apartments. Even the largest of tower blocks can be protected by this type of system with audio or video facilities being provided.
Functional Door Entry Systems are recommended for individual dwellings and blocks with up to 16 apartments. Low rise and single dwellings can benefit from the cost effective design and simplicity of the system.
